SPORTING CP 3 - 0 Benfica
Delighted with a first win with my new look Sporting and over arch rivals Benfica.
We had control of the match with 61% possession and good passing game, scoring through Werner, Struijk and Ristovski.
Good abs picked up and very positive start.
Montpellier HSC 0 - 3 SPORTING CP
Very happy with another 3-0 win and clean sheet.
Again we controlled the match with possession and created plenty of chances, scoring through Timo Werner 2 goals and Bruno Fernandes.
Good abs gained and another solid performance.
Great start for me 2 wins, 2 clean sheets

AZ67 ALKMAAR 5 - 1 Sevilla FC
A comprehensive win and promotion achieved.
Just edged the match against a good Sevilla side, Fernando Torres with another commanding performance 2 goals and the Man of Match.
The other goals from Vanaken, Henrique and Cody. Most of team played well, Matty James was disappointing.
St Mirren 1 - 1 AZ67 ALKMAAR
Happy with the point, good match Raingod.
we took lead through Biraghi but St Mirren hitback, were very below par and Nakamura made 11 key saves to save us the draw.

Comprehensive result as the team continues to flourish ..
Took 23 mins to score but 3-0 and game over by Half Time
MOM Roofe with a hat trick - bargain of the season costing jsut £5m from Ajax!
Strong debuts also by Naylor and Raggett ..

Disappointed not to get all 3 points - but that is a sign of how far we've come! Well played Mourinho! With 59% possession and 26 chances to 19, we had the better of the game .. Torreira's best performance in a Buddies shirt as MOM, being released from the shackles of a DM role and playing all over the park .. So incredibly we sit 9 points clear of 5th place (technically 10 pts as our GD is superior by +25 vs Auxerre) with 6 matches and 18 pts available to play for .. Come Season 3 St Mirren may be the top Scottish club in WSM!! |

Red Bull Leipzig 1 - 3 AS MONACO
Another good win for us and step closer to the league title as expected.
Result never in doubt we had total control of the match, 2 Lacazette goals and 1 from Ballo Toure.
The whole team played well and gained good abs too.
AS MONACO 4 - 2 Brentford
Good win although Brentford made us work hard for it.
An own goal set us on our way, Jovetic, Sidibe and Lacazette with the goals.
Another good team performance and more good abs gains for the team.
6pts picked up and with Mourinho dropping points were back to 3pts clear with 18pts to play for the title.
