Portsmouth U23s 4 - 2 AJAX ACADEMY
Good match Inzaghi lots of action and we pushed you all the way.
Very close match and we were really in the game, just needed to take a few more chances when we had them.
Ramos and Tavares on target late in the 2nd half, defense and midfield played well and picked up good abs.

UNITED U23s 5 - 0 Juventus U23s
Good solid win for our Academy, dominated game with 66% possession and 26 key passes.
Shkurin, Puigmal, Weah, Karpov and Svidersky scoring the important goals.
Puigmal as Man of the Match, good performance and great abs gained especially Botos with 108 passing abs.

It's not often you score 6 without reply at the Bernabau ..
A cheeky whataspp to manager Drum was responded to with "yeah I am not worried by the youth side. To me that's a nothing result"
77% possesssion - is that a record away from home? - 37 chances - and great performances and abs across the board ..
Davies was MOM in what will be one of his last youth games before returning to the senior side .. but special mention to Rhein and Tillman who played with maturity and passion
A great result!!

A second great performance from the other Bayern youths on the night - and all the hard work in developing these teams is starting to pay off!
Just the 67% possession this time, and only 31 shots, but we rode our luck at times and Spurs can feel unlucky ..
On 80 mins we were 3-1 down, but 3 great strikes, with Greenwood's perseverence delivering the winner in the 88th minute delivered us 3 points!
Defensively we were not great - and special mention to Jones who came into midfield with 16 to play and was instrumental - he will certainly start the next game!

St Etienne U23s 1 - 1 ATLETICO ACADEMY
Have to be happy with a draw, although feel we should have won.
Valera with our only goal and Man of the Match, need to improve our play on the field.

RSC Anderlecht U23s 2 - 1 FOREST U23s
We went D tactic and it nearly worked for us against much stronger Academy side.
Not too disappointed in defeat, Camacho with the goal and MOM, although we had Perrin sent off early on which made the game hard for us.
