First of two matches against managed sides, so we need to stay strong and tight at the back especially as St Mirren invested £71 million on big players.
Were at full strength so no change from the two wins on Friday night, change in game tactics, good luck Raingod.
West Ham - AZ67 ALKMAAR
Again stay with same team from Friday, tweaking of tactics as we expect West Ham to really come at us as their at home and have a good manager in Macca.

Mannone and Balle-Toure both still out, new signings Allison starts in goal, Bouna Sarr in defense, Juan Mata and N'Golo Kante in midfield and Lacazette in attack all making their debuts in a much stronger looking team now.
Mukiele and St-Maxim go on the bench.
AS MONACO - AJ Auxerre
Change in formation and tactics, Sarr and Kante miss out on this match.

Raingod has history with Mourinho - although he is unbeaten vs. him in their 3 meetings in WSM, it was Mourinho's Antwerp that stopped us winning the league last year, so we are eager to get something from this one ... (Mourinho, with all your managerial changes recently - Leeds, Portsmouth, Wimbledon and now AZ, perhaps you should rebrand as Allardyce!!) As expected our 3 big signings from Arsenal all come straight into the line up, while Maitland-Niles is sub .. We vary our 352 formation, and keep tactics under wraps Good luck Mourinho! |
