A Bayern youth side beat Man U 4-2 for the 2nd week in a row!!!
Despite goalie Kainz going off injured in the 1st half, sub Barakat looked assured.
Mbuku was the star of the show with a hat trick from midfield, but strong performances throughout!

A spectacular collapse saw us 0-5 down at HT - a hairdryer-type team talk ensured we conceded no more and "won the 2nd half"
Odriozola, Le Mai and Saivet played well - but the fact 2 of these are over -age and will be returning to the seniors soon - suggests we dont have good enough youths coming through
Perhaps some inter-youth swaps required ?
A new goalie will be top of the shopping list - neither has performed to a great standard so far ...

POMPEY ACADEMY 4 - 1 RSC Anderlecht U23s
Great result for the Academy, did not see this result coming so were delighted.
Very tight match between two good teams, we had shots on target and bagged 4 of them.
Gifford, Romero, Wilkes and Joveljic scoring the goals, good performance and abs gained.

Totally outplayed and never looked like winning the match.

Well played Raingod... We need to start paying attention to our Academy after another defeat, we had more possession and better passing but lost the match. Svidrsky and Weah with the goals, team played well just not the result. |

And this rounded off a poor weekend of results for senior and u23s RSC squads, will need some serious thinking of a change of tactics and personnel.

ATLETICO ACADEMY 4 - 0 AFC Portsmouth
Good strong win for the Academy, Mavididi with masterclass all 4 goals and Man of Match, 2 goals from penalty spot.
Valera also had great game without scoring.
Were now 4th in the league.
