As stats show very tight match even between both teams, we found our scoring boots....
Garcia, Ake, Camacho and Nunoz on target, Camacho with Man of Match.
Happy with much needed 3pts.

AJAX ACADEMY 1 - 1 Real Madrid U23s
Disappointed drawing with Madrid, we should have beaten them...
Timber with the 23rd minute goal and they levelled late in the 2nd half, our keeper Scherpen the best player most of our team played very average.

PSG U23s 1 - 3 CHELSEA ACADEMY
2nd win over PSG on the night, we just edged the match.
Lookman with both goals and Man of Match on his debut the other goal from Ballo.
Musel and Lookman worked hard in attack, Cantwell and Gazzaniga had a good match.
Were up to 3rd place, just 2pts behind leaders.

POMPEY ACADEMY 2 - 0 Bayern Munich U23s
Good match Raingod, very tight affair looking at stats the only difference we took our chances.
Hughes and Vlahovic on target, not a brilliant game but were happy with 3pts.
St etienne U23s 3 - 3 AFC PORTSMOUTH
Have to be happy with a point after they dominated the match.
Brook, Benjani Jr and White on target, good team performance and our keeper Manderson in great form with 12 saves.
Pompey Academy up to 4th place and AFC Portsmouth in 8th place.

RSC Anderlecht U23s 2 - 1 JUVENTUS U23s
Well played Macca, the better team won.
We were never in the match, Soule with the 89th minute consolation, not happy with 5 booked players.
Keeper Israel had great match 12 saves.

RSC Anderlecht U23s 2 - 1 Juventus U23s
A good win against Robsons Juventus put us top above Ajax on goal difference, Openda converted an early penalty for RSC and a second goal for Cuisance sealed the win but Correia's sending off midway through the second half could have derailed this victory but fortunately we hung on.

Disappointed when we had 50% more chances and more possession that we failed to deliver .. sit 10th place and really struggling. On paper we have the strongest 2 x youth sides - major investment has been made yet no end result so far ... Only Aarons (our MOM), Soler and Kadadayi performed well enough to confirm selection next time round. Major experimentation, line up and tactical changes to follow ... |

Happy with much needed 3pts. Well played Marco - you are now working your magic in the youths as well as the seniors!! Even game with 50% possession and 12 chances each - so a draw would have been a fair result, but we didnt perform on the night. Our only goal of the night from both my youth teams .. and it was an own goal ... If this was my senior team I would be at high risk of the sack!! 4 players performed on the night - Williams, Wan Bissaka & Odriozola (MOM) at the back, and Niasse up front. Major surgery required as we sit almost bottom of the league, with Drum sparing us the embarassment of being bottom ... |

ST ETIENNE U23s 3 - 3 AFC Portsmouth
We took lead twice through Krasso and Abi, they hit back went 3-2 up and we got late 89th minute equaliser Koindredi.
We dominated the match and should have won the game, team played well and good abs gained.
