we play our next pre season game this time against man city another tough game but again i will rotate my team and see how we get on and after this match i could decide who my captain will be all i ask is a good performance and see if we are ready

We chose to have a big friendly and dont much bigger than league champions United and the Boss.
One friendly so far with 4-3 win over Everton, just one change with Santos dropped and replaced by Paqueta. |

Always tough against Stocko so should be an interesting friendly match with changing fortunes they went down we went up.
Arana comes in for injured Kyle Walker and Raul Jimenez replaces Jarrod Bowen in attack no other changes. |

Away we go to Germany to take on Dortmund and with two leagues between is we should be winning this match.
Name an unchanged team from our first pre season game, look to goals from Isak and Callum Wilson. |

Sevilla 1 - 1 SPORTING LISBON
Disappointed not to win was close match with both goals early, both of us had player sent off.
Raphinha scored and Diogo Dalot sent off, Ramires and Raphinha our best players. |

despite losing i am pleased with the performance of my team as city probs have the best keeper in the game and with the likes of cole plamer hojlund and haaland it was always going to be a tough game but thats what i want to see were my team is at and we played well having more of the game

Borussia Dortmund 3 - 2 NEWCASTLE UNITED
Disappointed losing to 3rd Division side but its only a friendly
Very tight even match looking at stats they had more chances, we had better passing stats.
Wilson and Alvarez on target, 5 players with 100+ abs and our midfield played very well so something to take forwards.

 Inter Milan 2 - 0 ANDERLECHT
Big gulf between the Div 2 Champions and ourselves, we did create plenty chances and good passing but failed to score.
Keeper Kikkenborg made 19 saves and kept scoreline respectable, Fokcet, Dendoncker and Dreyer played well rest of team pretty average. |

Everton 0 - 1 MANCHESTER CITY
Good match Stocko was very close game and could have gone either way, Raul Jimenez hot the winner in the 74th minute.
Both keepers were busy and picked up good abs, Rico Lewis and Cassemiro were our stand out players.

Happy with my Salzburg its a learning curve for us, had slightly more of the ball but narrow defeat.
Work to build on but fairly happy. |

AJAX 2 - 5 Manchester United
United and the boss showed their class and gave us a lesson and show we have alot of work still to do in this season to be challenging in the top flight.
Messi and Willian scoring, we played okay but need more from my midfield. |
