A deserved result, with 2 goals on 26 and 28 minutes securing the win, and for all Anderlecht's possession we stood firm.
Both goals came from midfielders Davies and Soler - who was MOM and justified his drop down to the youths for match time.
With a large squad at his disposal, Raingod confirmed that others would be given a chance where players underperform as we seek to instill the same winning mentality as the seniors...

A great result from our youngsters to get out of jail during this game and come home with a point. The main talking point was the sending off of Jamie Bowden just 8 minutes after coming on the pitch to replace injured Georgiou after 21 minutes. To play for 60 minutes with 10 men and being 3-1 down Kion Etete against showed his class scoring either side of half time to rescue a draw, after defender Cameron Carter-Vickers had scored our first.
Even more impressive was that we edged possession and managed to score three goals from only four on target, showing how clinical this team is. The tactics and new formation that the team adopted was really well executed giving us hope going in to the next game against for club Barcelona that we can stand up for ourselves in this league, despite being the bookies favourites to finish bottom.
