From Season 2, there will be an u23 structure within the game.
These leagues are development leagues where the aim is the get younger players ready for first team football at senior level for your club.
The rules for the u23's are as follows:
1) Two Divisions of 8 teams playing each other home and away
2) Divisions will be PDL 1 and PDL 2.
3) PDL 1's bottom two teams are relegated to PDL 2
4) PDL 2's top team is promoted to PDL 1
5) Teams finishing in 2nd and 3rd in PDL 2 will go into a two legged playoff, the winner being promoted to PDL 1
6) Clubs are only allowed to field three players over the age of 23
7) Maximum rating allowed in a u23 squad and in matches is 10
8) There will be 1 unmanaged 'external' team to round the number of teams up to 16
9) The external team for Season 2 is Lille OSC
