PSV EINDHOVEN 4 - 1 Tottenham Hotspur
Good win and very happy with 3pts although both sides did not give up to much action in the match.
We just did enough and we really took chances to score goals, hatrick for Haaland and 1 for Gareth Bale.
Not vintage performance but we'll take it.

Inter Milan 2 - 0 REAL SOCIEDAD
Well played Drum, we went defensive to see if we could keep game tight and nick the points but did not work out they are leaps ahead of us.
Very poor performance from us, not much else to report.

Watching from the stands last night as my new team went down to a heavy defeat.
Spurs were in the game of not much action but missed their chances.
Now time to evaluate and see what we have to work with.

Liverpool 1 - 1 SPORTING LISBON
Not happy with a draw, but there was little action and a 70th minute own goal cost us 3pts.
Firmino with our goal and the Man of the match, Modric, Alcacer and Firmino played well in the game but rest of team not up to our usual standards. |

Great win and much needed points, very close fought match could easily have gone the other way.
An own goal gave the 3pts and we need some luck, not a brilliant performance but we'll take it. |

AJAX FC 5 - 0 Lazio
Another solid win with plenty of goals as we go top of the league and still unbeaten.
Result never in any doubt we controlled the possession and set about our passing game which brought another 5 goals from Darwin Nunez woth a hatrick, Depay and Garner.
Nunez with another Man of the Match award, whole team put in another battling display and think we are looking good for promotion. |

REAL BETIS 4 - 0 Sunderland
Very good win for me and were still developing, Ederson Cavani scores on his debut, 2 goals for Chalov on debut and 1 goal for Evgenyev on debut.
Cavani with man of the match showing his experience, we created plenty of chances and worked the ball well with my new players defnately something we can now build on. Very happy with the team performance and new players on their debuts. |
