Didn't deserve to lose with 50% more chances and 58% possession - well played Bielsa!
Capt Reis was MOM, Vice Capt Doku with our goal ..
A quiet debut from Hamsik who will need time to setttle ...
In a division of 10 teams, can't afford too many slip ups if you have ambitions of doing well ...

We are delighted with win and beating Raingod & Bayern ending their unbeaten run.
Bayern had slightly more possession but not as dominating as Raingod would have you believe, if you look at stats.
When our chances we took them, Icardi, de Vrij and our young star Musel on target.
Joao Mario had good game in midfield, we played on the counter and it worked and were into 2nd place.

Portsmouth 1 - 3 MANCHESTER UNITED
Glad to get this one out of the way, and we actually the controlled the match well and did not give Pompey much to get in the game with.
Goals from Coutinho (1 mins), Ercoloni (29mins) and Shomurodov (82 mins).
Pogba and Gravenberch pulling strings in midfield, Ercoloni & Griezmann also had a good match.
Vital 3 points and were still unbeaten.

We disappoint to lose at home, we not play well only 2 shots on target, United play better and win match.
Henrique with our scoring goal, very low performance from my team.
We think United win League.

Good looking home crowd turned up for this tricky matchup but a huge sigh of relief at the end of the game from the gaffer after at HT the score was only 1-0 so all to play for in the second half.
Costa scored a couple and then the third coming from defender Bruma who also picked up MOM award which was pleasing.
Both teams started the game in a counter attack tactic but it looked like the formation picked by both teams turned out to be the decidiing factor.
Really needed to get these 3 points to stay away from the bottom of the league and happy to do the business. |

Decided to gamble and try attacking PSG and Drum, it backfired have to hold my hands up.
Only 32% possession was shocking, Bruno Fernandes with 2 goals and 1 for Rabiot.
5 players booked shows how hard we had to work in the match, Xhaka the only player to get any praises...
Back to the drawing board!! |
