Disappointing result, going 0-3 down before HT, and conceding in the 1st minute!
We fought back with 2 goals but couldn't get the 3rd, despite greater possession!
Ballotelli was our best player - will the rumoured move to PSG materialise?

Think Tuchel will be happier than I am with the result, only 28% possession was shocking!!
Da Silva sent off did not help us and he will be reprimanded, Iheanacho, Reus and Brischinski the scorers.
Very poor performance by the team.

Fully deserved win Robbo, we were poor and not start we wanted from a tough game.
Stuck with a 4-4-2 which did not work, Lundstram scoring then sent off will be fined.
We passed the ball well, some good abs gained but disjointed performance.

Very angry with my players losing so heavily to bitter rivals.
Lucas Barbosa with our late goal, Juninho our best player in a dismal performance.
Mbappe and Fernandinho busy but no goals for either.

Lille OSC 2 - 3 OGC NICE
Very happy to win our opening game against a tough manager in Raingod and good team in Lille.
Cavani nutmegs Lille keeper for 1-0 on 1 minute, on 23mins Brazao hits the post and in for 2-0, on 33 mins Cavani chips the Lille keeper.
We were looking good then ley Lille back into the game but held on, very tight match with Cavani as MOM.
Happy with the win more than the performance.

AZ67 alkmaar 1 - 4 BORUSSIA DORTMUND
Very good start to the season with a comfortable 3pts and 4 goals.
2 goals for Timo Werner, 1 each for Hazard and Guedes scoring with all goals in the first 32 minutes.
Thor Hazard was Man of the Match, good team performance and abs gained. |

We were 3-1 up at half time but Milan battled back into the game, we scored through Sporar, Helder Costa and Possignolo.
Oriol Hernandez with the Man of the Match, good abs gained. |

Ajax FC 2 - 2 AS Monaco A solid start for Monaco against favourites Ajax at the Cruyff Stadium. Ajax opened the scoring halfway through the first half with Welbeck scoring and thats how it stood at half time. Monaco equalised with MOM G_Martins scoring and then a fortunate own goal gave Monaco the lead in the 60 th minute. But Ajax snatched an equaliser through Depay to even things at the end. |
