Well played Darlington, disappointed with defeat we had the possession but did not do enough with the ball.
Gareth Bale scores on debut, Hamsik and Bale the only two players who deserve credit we really missed Veratti in midfield.
Real Madrid 3-3 PARIS ST GERMAIN
Well played Bielsa, very even match we edged possession and passing.
Marquinhos, Bale and Martial scoring the goals. Team played better, Harry Kane wasteful with 12 shots and no goals.
Poor night for us, only highlight Gareth Bale bagging 2 goals in first two appearances.

Barnsley 1-4 MAN UTD
Good comprehensive win which at the time kept us up with a chance if a 2nd place if other scores went our way. But Ronaldo was sent off and Gravenbergh was injured.
MAN UTD 1-2 Arsenal
Didn’t expect this but the Gunners deserved the points. Another sending off didn’t help either. Now 3rd place is the best I can look for.
MAN UTD 2-2 Liverpool
Now we can’t beat an unmanaged team - all 4 goals scored in the 1st half and we had to come back on both occasions. You have to win these games, and Pepe’s brace wasn’t enough.
So apart from 2 home gate monies, we have 3 suspensions and an injury, still need a win to guarantee 3rd place - but at least the target set of 4th place has been achieved. Mmm🤔🤔

Atletico Madrid 1 - 2 PORTSMOUTH
We very happy with win over Atletico Madrid and we get play european competition next season.
Very close match and we battle for win, Elliott and Christensen score goals.
Harvey Elliott best player but average performance.
PORTSMOUTH 2 - 3 AS Monaco
We disappoint to lose only 2nd game in league at home, we play better and better team but lose.
Wilson and Lavezzi score goals, we play well and good abs but we not get the points.
We in 5th place and not finish lower than 6th, we can still make Champions League if we win last 2 matches and PSG lose both matches. |

Borussia Dortmund 2 - 3 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Good match Robbo, very tight match and our winning penalty got the 3pts.
Jimenez scoring twice and the winning penalty, Fabregas scores on his debut.
Good solid performance with all 11 players playing their part and gaining good abs.
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 6 - 1 jUVENTUS
Very surprised and delighted with such a big win, sorry Batistuta.
We had slightly better of the match and think we deserved the win and 3pts.
goals from Luis Muriel with 4 goals, Jimenez and Roles. Muriel with the man of the match.
Defense played well and picked up good abs.
A very good night for my improving Spurs with 6pts and team settling well.

Bayern Munich 3 - 0 Liverpool
65% possession, 30 shots to 5 and a clean sheet ... can't ask for any more (well suppose we could have had 66% possession and 4 goals ...!)
.. would have been a far harder game had they been managed .... "We hate Drum" was their fans' ongoing chant throughout the game ...
Lots of good abs earnt, no injuries or yellows!!

The curse of Ajax continues ..
Doku opened the scoring against his old club with keeper error, but 2 from Ajax in the last 20 turned it around .. well played Drum!
No yellows for a 2nd consecutive game!!
Ozil put on a great show suggesting he wants to stay ...
