ST ETIENNE 1 - 3 AS Monaco
First match not as I had hoped, but were a work in progress for next season.
We played very well, matched Monaco but came up short taking our chances, Mbappe scoring on debut and Man of Match.
We 9 new U21s playing in the team so will take some time, Mbappe, Fernandino and Barbosa played well.
Borussia Dortmund 3 - 1 ST ETIENNE
Again we matched Dortmund but did not take our chances.
Barbosa with the goal, Moukoudi, Mbappe and Fernandinho played well...
We need few more games for my team to gel....

Bayern Munich 3-4 MAN UTD
I reckon this is about the first time we have been behind with the shooting stats and pinched a win - usually the other way round.
Apologies to Bayern - they lead 3-1 and should have won the game.
MAN UTD v Liverpool
Goodness, more apologies here - I can see I had suspensions and injuries, and although I put out a legitimate first 11, I had a duplicate player on the bench who couldn’t come on.
I could have promoted a youth player to cover one game I guess, but we accept any punishment the League hands out. My fault entirely. 😟😟

PSG 1 - 1 Borussia Dortmund
Well played Niall, we should have put the game to bed but missed too many chances, Martinez sent off and now suspended did not help us.
Harry Kane on target and Man of the Match, Fabegas, Veratti, and Kane the only 3 players who turned rest of my team very quiet and disappointing.
Juventus 2 - 1 PSG
Well explain this one.......75% possession, 18:12 passing, 13:3 shots on target and we lost....
Scratching my head on this one, Harry Kane again with the goal and another Man of the Match.
Team actually played better in this match than Dortmund game.
Very poor night for us.

POMPEY 1 - 4 Inter Milan
Well played Chelseablues you gave us a hiding.
Very disappointed to lose our unbeaten home record and in a very poor manner by our standards.
Lavezzi with our goal, nothing else to say we were so poor and Inter were too good on the night for us.
Barnsley 2 - 5 POMPEY
Lost our home record but picked up a good fightback win.
We were 2-0 down inside 19 minutes but fought back hard, Lavezzi with a hatrick, Welbeck and Augusto on target.
Lavezzi man of the match, very good team performance and picked up good abs.
Warm up for our quarter final match with Barnsley.

St Etienne 1 - 3 AS MONACO
Well played Zico, happy to get the 3pts over new manager and his new look team.
But they made us work hard for it, Jovetic on 54 and 68 minutes, Maripan on 53 minutes to get the job done.
Alisson in great form with 14 saves to keep them out of the match, Sidibe, Jovetic and Lacazette played well.
AS MONACO 3 - 3 West Ham
The hammers surpised us and gave us a scare so we had to settle for just 1 point at home.
Dominated the possession but we did not use the ball well enough when we had it and should have scored more goals.
Lacazette, Perisic and Golovin on target, Perisic with a rare Man of the Match this seaSON.
Generally team played well and picked up good abs, Alisson was quiet despite conceding 3 goals.

Manchester City 0 - 2 CHELSEA
Very pleased to come away from Etihad with 3 pts and dominating performance from my boys.
Sergio Aguero and James Rodriguez scoring the goals, De Bruyne the Man of the Match.
Always going to be tough match so cant fault the players.
CHELSEA 7 - 1 Real Madrid
Wow did not see this performance coming, sorry Bielsa.
Totally controlled the possession, passing and shot on goal and a great haul of goals for us.
Aguero with a hatrick, Simeu with 2 goals from defense, 1 for Neymar and Olmo.
Good solid all round performance.

Portsmouth 1 - 4 INTER MILAN
very happy and good win for my new look team and ended Pompey's unbeaten home season.
Result never in doubt we controlled the match with our possession and passing based counter attacking football.
A rare Ramos goal, Thuram-Ilie, Griezmann and Varane scoring the goals, Kamara with MOM in the DM role.
INTER MILAN 4 - 1 Liverpool
Back to back wins and two big wins, delighted.
Very even match with Liverpool but we were clinical in front of goal, Griezmann putting on another masterclass with 4 goals and MOM Award.
4 goals out of 5 shot for Griezmann.
A very good night for me with 6pts, 8 goals scored and only 2 conceded.

AJAX FC 4 - 4 Juventus
We disappoint with only draw and we let 4 goals come against me, but we score goals.
Tielemans, Blind, Torres and Depay score for me, team play well my goalie make 16 saves.
Manchester City 0 - 1 AJAX FC
Darlington give me scare we just win this match, we play well and have lots of the ball and chances.
Siem De Jong score the early goal, we have defend Karsdorp sent off, we gain good abs for players.
We happy with 4pts and still top league.

A very good win for us, our young strikers Pedro and Musel both on target, Matic and sub hazard.
Joao Pedro best player on the field, very good team performance and good abs picked up by all my players.
Chelsea 7 - 1 REAL MADRID
Awful performance from us, well played Colin.
Disappointed with my whole team, we did not show our quality at all.
