PSG - Liverpool
First of two very tough matches and we need to bounce back from the 8-3 defeat to Pompey.
Martinez and Kimbempe both suspended, Marquinhos comes into defense. Otherwise we name unchanged team from the Pompey game.
Look to Griezmann to keep his scoring form in partnership with Henrique.
Bayern Munich - PSG
We stay with same team that plays Liverpool, but we switch tactics and make some tweaks.

CHELSEA - Barnsley
After 3 defeats in 4 games, first of two easier winnable matches and we need to take 6pts.
Alonso still suspended, Mbappe injured so forced into changes, Telles keeps his place in defense and Sergio Aguero comes into attack.
Arsenal - CHELSEA
We'll stick with unchanged team for trip to Arsenal and the London derby.

St Etienne - POMPEY
First of two matches against unmanaged team so we expect to take 6pts.
We make three changes with gosens coming into defense and Augusto coming into midfield, Lavezzi returns to partner Welbeck in attack.
Switch to away formation and change in away tactics.
POMPEY - West Ham
No changes in home lineup, and were looking to maintain our unbeaten home form.

REAL MADRID - Manchester United
First of two big games for us, and our form has been erratic so we need to work hard and take the win.
Hazard and Bailly still out so Musel continues in attack and in good scoring form.
We make change in tactics and look to push on against United...
Inter Milan - REAL MADRID
Always tough playing Chelseablues and Inter team are unpredictable.
We stay with same team lineup but will again change tactics.

AJAX FC - AS Monaco
We top of league and want to stay there, so we need continue our unbeaten run and beat Inzaghi's Monaco
We make only one change, rotating Heung-Min and Torres in attack.
AZ67 Alkmaar - AJAX FC
we should beat our Dutch rivals as they near bottom of league, but did win their last two matches.
We make many changes to rotate my team.

This league does not get any easier....
Manchester City - INTER MILAN
Tough trip to Darlington and the Etihad for us.
Kalas and Kane both suspended, Pepe stays in defense, Luka modric comes into midfield and new young star Darwen Nunez makes his debut in attack.
Slight tweaking in our tactics.
INTER MILAN - Real Madrid
We field same team as Man City game, but again our tactics will be tweaked to face Real.

Interesting couple of games for us as we travel to Borussia Dortmund and then come back to Spain to face Italian giants Juventus. One change that is forced upon me is the suspension of midfielder Saul Niguez who will be sorely missed but Y Carrasco will be given game time and is more than a suitable and capable replacement. Recent acquisition M Anzolin will be planted in the defense to replace veteran defender Arias. I have high hopes for the 20 year old defender and in my short managerial career at Inter I liked what I saw in him, enough to bring him to Atletico Madrid as a future starter. He will be given time to develop but with the current crop of players around him in my defense I think he will do very well. Borussia (currently sitting 16th) and Juventus (sitting 18th) are ideal bottom of table teams to see what he can do. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a goal or two in him playing out from the back or from set pieces.
Haven't made any major tactical tweaks and I am hoping Costa (30) and young Felix (18) can add to their goal tallies. I do understand that in this league no results can ever be taken for granted but I am hoping we show up strongly for both games. We need points to continue to push the top teams and try and grab that top 6 placing my sponsors demand.
Young Anzolin holds great promise as 11kiwis has seen in past fixtures..... and gives 100% in every game he is involved in.

WE at Man Utd have accepted we won't be in the hunt for the Championship, but will say well done to Ajax for their stunning run of 8 wins on the bounce to top the division. For sure I was convinced the top would be ruled by one of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Liverpool, PSG or Bayern. So to see a new face up there - just remember some of us have been there - difficult to stay there, eh, lads?? But enjoy it while you can... :-)

Another tough one ... with Hamza on board they will be hard to beat .. so long as the manager turns up on the night??
We play 352 as we need to overpower them in midfield ..
Nasri is rested otherwise pretty much strongest selection available ..

We are due a win eh Stevie??!!!
