Great game - full of action and fortunately for us, a late substitution saw the sub Poulsen notch our 92nd minute leveller. Happy with the way the team is improving..

We came out on top in a topsy-turvy game against an unmanaged side!
6 performers, 63% possession and it was deserved ..
Pleased with 5 different scorers in the absence of top striker Rashford - shows we are not over reliant on him ..
Only 1pt off 4th place - so hopefully a return to league form after 2 consecutive defeats ...

AC MILAN 3 - 2 FC Nantes
Good match Chelseablues, very happy to win and beat league leaders.
We just edged the game and deserved the 3pts, Patson Daka with 2 goals and 1 for John Brooks.
New signing Toni Kroos was Man of the Match, Doan, Kroos and Arnold played very well.
We now need to build on this and climb the table.

SL BENFICA 3 - 2 Portimonense SC
very good win over a strong side, we just did enough to deserve the 3pts.
We were 2-0 up through Seferovic and Samaris then they hitback before Verissmo made sure for us and we go top.
Good team performance and good abs gained.

AS ROMA 3 - 3 LEYTON ORIENT
Only a draw but was against top 4 side and have to be happy with that.
We fought back twice with goals from Matonda and Jorge, then took lead through Magno but could not hold on and they scored late on.
Emerson and Magno played well, Vandervoort had good match in goal making 11 saves.

We got a late equaliser otherwise could have been a bad night for us. 6 goals was entertainment for the fans but we wanted the points, Pedro, McGregor and Pastore scoring our goals. Cristante was bets player on the field taking MOM Award, we had good possession but needed to make better use of the ball. |
