Dortmund 0 - 3 REAL MADRID
Very happy winning first match in charge, we went with new look 5-3-2 and we dominated the match.
Very happy with 75% possession, scoring through Bailly, Matic and new signing from Chelsea Academy Torben Musel.
Baiily injured and de Vrij sent off were the blips in the performance, Dusan Tadic pulling the strings in midfield.
REAL MADRID 5 - 4 Juventus
Very happy with a 2nd win and a goalfest.
Upemecano, Pedro, Marcelo, Bonucci and an own goal.
Report does not show player stats but happy with 6pts on the night.

Inter Milan 1-0 Man Utd
Another game where if the opposition can’t score we will do it for them.
Certainly worth a draw minimum here but things aren’t going right…
Man Utd 3-3 Barnsley
Outshot the opposition yet again but when things aren’t going your way and the computer hates you, you take it on the nose.
Always next week and the pressure of even reaching the top 4 is off now. Better start looking at relegation the way we are playing.
At least my Segunda team won - thank goodness for some good news.

Mixed fortunes on the night......
INTER MILAN 1 - 0 Manchester United
As expected a very tight match looking at the stats, we take the 3pts thank to united own goal. (Sorry Grandadam)
Our first match in charge and very average performance, we need to do better and improve quickly.
INTER MILAN 0 - 6 Ajax FC
Well played Swedish80 you certainly gave us a hiding and lesson, Ajax were well drilled and rampant.
We played poorly and deserved the tanking we got.

Awesome night for my Pompey....
Bayern Munich 3 - 4 POMPEY
Good match Raingod, thought you might play L so we decided to try our luck and go L too....
We fought back well from 2-0 down, to 2-1 then 3-1 and then we scored 3 times in the last half hour to nick the points...
Torres, Sarr, Lavezzi and Simakan scoring the goals, very happy with how we played, Bellingham the main man in midfield with Lavezzi and Welbeck playing well in attack.
POMPEY 10 - 4 Atletico Madrid
Well we did not expect this result and feel sorry on 11kiwis, the scoreline really flattered us in a very close match which could have been a drawn.
Danny Welbeck with hatrick and MOM, 2 for Lavezzi, 2 for Torres and 2 for Bellingham, and Correa.
Not one of our best performances but we'll happily take 3pts and 10 goals.

CHELSEA 1 - 5 PSG
Well we did not expect that result, well played Stevie your team took their chances and Griezmann came back to haunt us.
Stats show close match but difference PSG scored 5 of 11 shots on target, we scored 1 of 7 shots on target disappointing.
Mbappe with 90th minute goal, Christesen sent off on 63 mins made it a poor game for us and PSG now level with us on points.
St Etienne 1 - 3 CHELSEA
Much better performance with 71% possession and 20:13 on passing stats.
Neymar, Mbappe and Telles scoring the goals and Mbappe finally put in an MOM performance.
Team picked up good abs.
Not the best night for me but were still leading the pack.

Certainly a missed opportunity - these 3 pts could be crucial come end of season ...
Mourinho got his tactics spot on - well played!
Raingod again criticised by the media for resting his best 2 midfielders and dropping pts ..
We still had 50% more shots on target, 56% possession - so we just werent clinical enough ...
Doku (MOM) and Salah both performed but Khazri has gone off the boil after not playing every week ...

That's more like it - our 100% record vs. Drum continues ..
.. and with 69% possession and 13 shots on target to 3, we should really have scored more!
Doku MOM again, strong set of abs across the board ..
Our defensive stability seems to be falling away - Kana's injury can't repair quickly enough, but we wont rush him back ...

Chelsea 1 - 5 PSG
Stunning result for us and we are now title challengers, unlucky Colin.
Was a close match as Colin stated but Griezmann popped up to score 2 goals against his old club, Fabregas scores against his old club too, Lozano and Veratti scoring.
Fabregas was man of the match, not too much action for abs but the result was so important.
PSG 5 - 2 Manchester City
Good result and well deserved by my boys.
Goals from Henrique, Draxler, Kimbempe, Lozano and Fabregas, Marik Hamsik was Man of the Match for this one.
Hamsik and Veratti bossed the midfield, team picked up good abs gains.

Atletico v St Mirren
W 4-0
Happy with the win and clean sheet playing at home against St Mirren.
Didnt help them that their GK Lloris was injured and needed replacing so early in on the game (18th minute).
We dominated shots on target with 12 against their 4 with Costa coming away with yet another MOM award.
Supersub Correa showed his importance once again coming off the bench in the 70th minute when he scored a screamer on the 74th minute.
Portsmouth v Atletico
L 10-4
Yes you read that right.... we conceded a whopping 10 goals and after the win against St Mirren were drastically bought back down to earth with this humiliating defeat.
They had 15 shots on target to our 12 which is a stat I am quite happy with but Oblak left his glasses at home and Costa couldnt hit a barn door if he was leaning on it.
Really destroyed out goal difference but we were well outclassed by experienced manager Mourinho and we tip our hat to him the way he went demolishing our flicker of hope in this game.
His team put on a masterclass around the pitch with striker Welbeck showing Costa how it should be done by scoring an impressive hat trick and securing MOM award in the process.
Costa had a total of 6 shots with nothing to show from it and he must do better than this if we are to compete for top 6 in the league - a target our sponsors have demanded.
Lesson learned - dont upset or mess with Mourinho!!!!
We are now level on points in the table but I believe we do have a better goal difference which is the only thing saving us from dropping another spot in the table.
We must do better.... that was unacceptable |

AJAX FC 2 - 1 Liverpool
Very happy beat Liverpool and another 3pts we are in good form.
We have better of match with possession and score with Fernando Torres and Ndidi.
Good match for me and players and we get good abs.
Inter Milan 0 - 6 AJAX FC
My best match we play so well and scoring 6 goals against high rate manager very good.
We control match with possession and way we pass the ball and score goals with Torres 2, Tielemans 2, Heung-Min and Karsdorp.
Fernando Torres with Man of match again, we get more good abs and player play good.
