Got to be pleased after going down 0-3 by the 25th minute.

RC Lens 2 - 2 SL BENFICA
Disappointed to drop points, fought back from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 until the last 2 minutes.
Conti and Cyprien scoring the goals, Camacho sent off on 12 minutes did not help our cause.
Defennders played well and picked up good abs.

Portimonense SC 3 - 5 FC NANTES
Wow game in a half and plenty of goals...
Started badly but fought back well, scoring through Emond hatrick, Evangelista and Girooto.
Emond with the man of the match, good abs picked up and remain top of the Segunda division.

LEYTON ORIENT 1 - 1 AC Milan
We were very lucky to get a point, AC Milan dominated the match.
Magno with the 92nd minute equaliser, not much else to say we were very poor and really need to start playing better.

Rangers 1 - 3 AS ROMA
A good away win, good match Burrows.
New midfielder Callum MaGregor scored twice on his debut, jesus with the other goal.
very even match at 50-50 possession, but we took our chances well afor the 3pts.
Good abs gained, keeps us in 3rd place and a promotion spot.

SEVILLA CF 4 - 2 Nottingham Forest
Very happy to get the points in a tough match, Forest have a strong team we created more chances and were in scoring form in the game.
Acuna, Fernando, Gudelj and Ocampos scoring with Rodriguez as MOM player.
Tapia and Rodriguez were massive in passing the midfield, good abs picked up.
Were just in the promotion places and need to stay there as think it will be a tight promotion race.

Despite having created the strongest team in the Division, ironically since taking over from Marco in the close season, Forest have lost 2 straight league games .. Is the cup giant killings (4 Primera sides .. so far ..) distracting from the main aim? A Tevez red with 30 to play didnt help and has angered Raingod ... Post-match it was confirmed that offers have been sent out to refesh the squad .. And with the imminent league restrcture that suggests there will only be 3 promo slots, action needs to be taken asap .. |
