Well played Colin, you deserved the win and points.
We were awful and never in the match and showed we are not title challengers this season.
very poor performance, Haaland and benrahma scoring the goals.
Manchester City 1 - 3 LIVERPOOL
Much happier with this performance, we deserved our win and 3pts to keep us in the top 4.
benrahma, Angelino and Haaland on target, Benrahama with MOM and developing very well over last few games.
Good team performamce and abs gained.

Liverpool 2 - 6 CHELSEA
Another good win for us to remain unbeaten in the League and winning form.
we battered Liverpool and Inzaghi with 73% possession and 16 shots on target showing our strength and football.
Robben and Neymar with 2 goals each, Mbappe and De bruyne on target.
very happy with my team, they worked hard and good abs gained.
CHELSEA 5 - 3 Bayern Munich
Another good win over a title rival, good match Raingod in a very even match but our finishing was the difference.
Mbappe with a hatrick, Neymar and dybala scoring goals.
Team played well again.
2 wins 11 goals and were back on top, great night for us.

RSC Anderlecht 1 - 4 PSG
Good match Macca, very tight match Macca had the better passing but we battled hard and our finishing was difference.
Griezmann the buy of the season with another great performance with MOM and 2 goals, 1 each for henrique and Fabregas.
Navas was in great form with 12 saves, team played well enough for the win.
PSG 2 - 1 Manchester United
Yesss!!!! massive win for us over United and Grandadam and now we are serious title contenders and were into 4th place our highest league position in 2 seaons.
Another very tight match with not many chances but we just edged it, Griezmann with another masterclass with MOM for 2nd match running and 2 goals, also scored own goal for United.
Griezmann and Fabregas played well.
2 narrow battling wins, but its 6pts and were into the top 4 now....

Man Utd 2-1 Juventus
A lucky win although we had great stats in the game. Juventus have good players - play well above their lowly league status.
PSG 2-1 Man Utd
Well beaten and even required Griezeman to score last kick consolation.
Slipping down the league although we will still win more than we lose..

POMPEY 1 - 1 Manchester City
Disappointed with draw at home, we did enough to win the match but City did pass the ball well.
Jude Bellingham with Man of Match performance and gave us a 1st minute lead but we could not hold on and probably scored to early.
Good crowd 36,558, team played well so cant fault the players we need to be more ruthless.
Real Madrid 3 - 0 POMPEY
Really need to sort our away form, well played Drum you deserved the win.
We matched the possession but Drum kept us from creating any worthwhile shots to score, not one of our best performances.
Only 1 point on the night disappointing.

Atletico Madrid 5 - 0 Arsenal
42,000 screaming fans turned up at Wanda Metroploitano stadium to witness Atletico take on Arsenal for an almost must win for 11kiwis.
The result, a clean sheet and strikers being as clinical as the manager has known them to be capable of was all pleasing.
Costa picked up MOM award with a fantastic hatrick, one of which could be in contention for goals of the season so far. Costa scored with an impressive overhead kick on the 29th minute. His hatrick was completed on the 50th minute and Felix scored with a scissors kick just prior to half time and super sub Angel_Correa scored on the 76th minute. To cap it off, midfield maestro Saul_Niguez scored a 40 yard scorcher that gave the Gunners goal keeper no chance. T_Partey came away with an impressive 4 assists and showed just how important he is to this teams success.
Atletico finished with 66% possession and 17 shots on target compared to Arsenal's 2.
All in all, a great 3 points, goals galore and a clean sheet to cap off a great day.
No major concerns with injuries or suspensions either.
AZ67 Alkmaar 0 - 6 Atletico Madrid
Fantastic 3 points with a dominant away win and clean sheet.
The manager must be happy with 71% possession and a massive 14 shots on target. Goals from Felix (his 10th of the season), two from defender Gimenez (both resulting from corners) two from Costa, one a well placed penalty, and an impressive volley from Lemar.
The home side were behind from the 2nd minute after midfielder Vanaken took down Costa when he was one on one with the keeper. and the referee had no other option but to show the red card. Nzonzi was having a good game as the manager trusted him as the starting DM and gave Partey a well deserved break but on the 89th minute he saw red which 11kiwis was not amused by at all by the look of his face.
We had two players impress enough to make the Teams of the Week. The first match day saw Costa and Partey deservedly make the team and then defender Gimenez and Costa made the second match day squad. All in all, an impressive display. Two clean sheets and a maximum of 6 points. Now we must translate those performances against the teams above us.

A dominant performance with 66% possession and another clean sheet ..
Gayle was MOM on a rare start .. whilst Kana and Ozil were both magnificent ..
Salah was unusually quiet - all other attacking players put in a good shift

Well played Colin! The press have criticised Raingod for once again being too negative in his formation when playing a top team - they feel he should simply play his own game .. Started so well with a goal on 5 mins from Nasri .. After an equaliser on 11, Chelsea should have been down to 10 men for a foul by the aging Robben ... We then miss a penalty on 28 from the normally reliable Doku .. Each time Chelsea went ahead we equalised .. With 15 to play and 3-3 we went for the win by going Long Ball - and Chelsea scored twice late on ... We were pretty level on shots and possession - so a draw would have been a fair result .. Having conceded 7 goals in first 11 league games, we concede FIVE in this one alone! |

Barnsley 2 - 0 AS MONACO
Very surprising 2-0 defeat for us, and not what we expected.
Very tight match, Bielsa had his team pass the ball better than we did and they deserved the win and 3pts.
Not much else to report.
AS MONACO 8 - 0 Arsenal
Back to winning ways in a big way with a 8 goal mauling of the Gunners..
Sarr with 2 goals, Jovetic, Golovin, 2 for Lacazette, Jacobs and Pellerini scoring.
Dominated possession and passing worked hard for a comprehensive win and 3pts, good abs gained especially Golovin.

BARNSLEY 2 - 0 AS Monaco
Yesss a great win for my struggling caretaker side over Chelseblues and Monaco.
Very tight even match, sending off could have been bad but we battled hard, Arslangic and Suarez the scorers.
Good abs gained and we passed the ball well.
Borussia Dortmund 3 - 3 BARNSLEY
Yessss a very goo draw against mighty Dortmund.
We dominated possession and passing and deserved the point, scoring through Luis Suarez with 2 goals and 1 from Lewandowski.
Another good team performance and good abs gained.
Good night for struggling caretaker club picking up 4pts.

WEST HAM 3 - 1 St Etienne
First of two home games and a good win for us and much needed 3pts.....
We were in total control of the match and result never in any doubt, Mauro Icardi with another superstar performance scoring a hatrick and MOM award.
Good team performance and good abs gained by my team.
WEST HAM 2 - 3 Ajax FC
Good match Swedish80, and we nearly got the result they are the in form team right now.
Very close match we just edged the stats but could not find the goals, Ramos and Modric on target.
Cant really grumble team played well, gained good abs but came up short.
Were up to 14th in the league and beginning to climb the table.

AJAX FC 5 - 1 Tottenham
We very happy with big win over tottenham.
Pavardr he score 2goals, we score with Tielemens, Trezeguet and Heung-Min.
We play very well and control match with our passing and we get good 3pts for team.
West Ham 2 - 3 AJAX FC
Good match Robson, we work hard and we just get win and another 3pts.
Fernando Torres score 2 goals and Tielemens score, Torres show his class as best player on the pitch.
My team play well and get good abs gains.
