LIVERPOOL - Inter Milan
Looking to bounce back from the 2-1 home defeat by Manchester united.
Sokratis returns to defense, Gotze comes into midfield and Teemu Pukki comes into attack for Sadio Mane.
Change in tactics, this should be a winnable match.
Barnsley FC - LIVERPOOL
Barnsley struggling and Bielsa trying to sort them out, so we should catch them cold and win this match.
Will stick with same team as Inter match.

RSC_Anderlecht v Atletico
No suspensions or injuries and fitness levels all looking good for two important games. Hoping Costa finds his shooting boots for this one and giving a couple of first team players a rest in preparation for the next game.
Atletico v Manchester United
A full strength squad at home against top opposition. Will need everyone performing at their very best and maybe a little luck to beat a formidable United team.
A little tweak in tactics given the opposition but hoping a full house at home can inspire the lads to bring home the points. |

LIverpool - INTER MILAN
First of two really tough matches for us, not sure how well we will do against either team.
We make no changes so we have our strongest team, and tweak our tactics.
Bayern Munich - INTER MILAN
2nd away game and another tough match.
So we stick with same team and tweak tactics again to try to accomodate Bayern.

Looking at Bayern and Atletico I realise just how many top teams and players are in this set up. Add Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid etc and I am re arranging our expectations to finishing in the top 4 (for the Champions League hopefully).
Next up?
Home to Bayern Munich then away to Atletico. BIG test for the lads for sure but everybody is available for selection...😷😷

West Ham - AS MONACO
Away at fellow promoted West Ham and Robbo, their struggling so will look to exploit and take the points.
No changes in lineup, Michael jacobs replaces Juan Mata on the bench, and we change tactics to counter West Ham.

AS_Monaco - RSC_Anderlecht
Expecting a very tough match with Macca, Aguilar comes into defense in rotation. N'Golo Kante returns to midfield in rotation.

WEST HAM - AS Monaco
Face Chelseablues so always a tough match, we need to start picking up wins and really need points.
We remain unchanged, need Modric, Icardi and Ziyech to play well if we hope to get the win and all 3pts.
Borussia Dortmund - WEST HAM
Tough away trip to Germany and Niall who has Dortmund playing very well.
We'll stick with same team but change in our tactics.

Real Madrid - CHELSEA
Top clash early on with Real and Drum....
Alonso, Seri and Telles all out suspended so we are forced into rotations, Aloski moves to full back and Simeu comes into defense.
Jorginho comes into Defensive Midfield for Seri, no other changes.
Good luck Drum.
CHELSEA - Tottenham Hotspur
We make two midfield changes with James Rodriguez and Isco coming into the starting lineup.

POMPEY - Barnsley FC
Home against Barnsley and fully expect to win at Fratton Park.
Squad rotation so Simakan comes into defense, Jude Bellingham comes into midfield with Truffert on the bench.
Switch to home tactics and formation.
Arsenal - POMPEY
Gosens comes into defense as only change, we switch to away formation and tactics.

Two very winnable games, and must win games for us....
ST MIRREN - ARSENAL
We have Torreira and Fleck both suspended which is a blow to us, Nandez moves into midfield and new strikers Calvert Lewin and Burke both start and make debuts.
No other changes.
AZ67 Alkmaar - ST MIRREN
Switch to away tactics and formation, Torreira and Fleck both return to the midfield with Calvert Lewin and Burke making way.

St Mirren - ARSENAL
Away trip North of the border, to play Marco and his team.
Were in poor form and need some psoitive results to really kickstart our season.
Esteves suspended so changei in defense, Swanson comes in and Mari keeps his place in defense.
Shuffle midfield with esquerdo being dropped, M Longstaff comes in at DM, and Ferran Torres moves into more central role.
ARSENAL - Portsmouth
We stay with same lineup as we welcome Mourinho and Pompey.

Ajax_FC v Manchester_City
Tough away fixture and we are without Aguero for this one who is injured. That coupled with fitness means a few changes.
Hopefully we will have enough to get something from this game.
Manchester_City v Real_Madrid
Luckily Aguero is only injured for the Ajax game and so will be back for this one for us which may help.
Home as well and we will be looking to get three points here and get above Madrid in the table.

Portsmouth - BARNSLEY FC
Very tough away trip to Fratton Park and Mourinho who is revitalising Pompey.
Prowse and Thiago both out of midfield is a big blow, so midfield will need rotation and were going to change formation to a 5-3-2.
Should give us more strength at the back.
BARNSLEY FC - Liverpool
We will stay with same formation, with Prowse and Thiago returning into midfield.
Will rotate our strikers.

Our 4th match against them, and facing our 4th different manager - Robson L0-1, Drum W2-1, Ian T L2-3 .. Grandadam? (The pattern suggests a win ..??)
We opt for 4 at the back with a DM given we are away and the quality of the opposition ..
Dallas aside, full strength squad to select from and go with our big hitters ..

Another tough game, unbeaten in 2 previous matches v Cantona, and honours even vs. Inter (W1 D1 L1).
We move to a more aggressive line up and tactics as we are at home - in come Goretzka, Reis, Khazri & Salah ..
Looking for at least 4 pts from tonights 2 fixtures ...and to remain unbeaten ...
