Juventus 1 - 6 LIVERPOOL
Fantastic start to the season for my Reds, banging in 6 goals....
Dominated match with 64% possession and 23:12 on passing, new striker Haaland with 4 goals, 1 for Benrahma and Lihadji.
Team played very well and picked up good abs all through the squad.
LIVERPOOL 4 - 2 Paris St Germain
Good match Stevie, knew this would be tough but we battled hard and take the points.
Very tight even match between two sides who should be at the top fighting, we fought back from 2-0 with four goals from Haaland (his 5th of the night), Mane, Benrahma and Lihadji.
Another good solid team performance and good abs picked up.
2 opening wins and top of table great start!!

Borussia_Dortmund 1 - Bayern_Munich 1
A draw was probably a fair result, for all our 65% possession we only managed 2 shots on target!
We need to expect teams to line up defensively against us as Niall did, and be ready to break them down!
It could have been so different had Salah's 2nd minute header not been disallowed for a ridiculous handball!
We went behind on 20 before a Goretzka piledriver on 32 levelled things up.
5 players performed, including our MOM Coutinho, but not the start we wanted ..

That's more like it .. after Liverpool's trouncing of them in MD1, we hoped that we were playing them at a good time and so it proved..
Our 2nd minute goal stood this time, with MOM Ozil weaving his magic!
A 2nd by the 11th minute and we were in control from then on ..
Doku and Goretzka finished the rout, and with 59% possession a pleasing result!
A better team performance too with strong performances from 9 of the 11 ...
Special shout out to Raingod's ex-club St Mirren who have started with 2 wins from 2 !! Spectacular results!!

Mixed bag as usual.
Hard fought victory over anderlecht. And was very hard.
Anderlecht I feel will be a little frustrated at getting nothing.
Then completely dicked at (as expected) a strong Utd set up.
Hey ho. Already given up 3 points to the big boys.

CHELSEA 6 - 3 Inter Milan
Good match 11Kiwis you made us work hard for the win...
Neymar bagged 4 goals in a commanding performance up front, Pulisic and Mbappe also scoring. We picked up 4 bookings may have to tone down our AGG.
We worked the ball well with our passing, Seri had a good match settling into the team.
Barnsley 2 - 5 CHELSEA
Sorry ian we were too god for you...
Very happy with 2 wins, and w had control of this match with 62% possession, and deserved our win.
Neymar with a hatrick and the man of the match, Mbappe and late sub Dybala all scoring the goals.
Busquets and neymar the two standout players from the match....

Not best start for my caretaker side.....
PSG 2 - 0 POMPEY
This was always going to be a tough match, we matched them and had chances but wasteful in front of goal.
Something to work on going forwards.
POMPEY 2 - 2 St Etienne
Have to be happy with a point, another very close match.
Unuvar and Kouassi on target, Unuvar our best player.

Fairly even game looking at the stats just undone by Madrid's overall better quality.
RSC Anderlecht 5 - 4 Tottenham Hotspur
A match for the fans but being 5-2 up and conceding 2 late goals to jangle the nerves needs to be looked at defensively.

ST ETIENNE 2 - 4 St Mirren
Very bad result, did not expect to lose to a weaker team the way we did, shocking!!
Aubameyang and Drmic were on target, our defense played very poorly and need to tighten up against bigger clubs.
Portsmouth 2 - 2 ST ETIENNE
Very close match with Bielsa's Pompey....
Rivera and trauco the scorers, Nkunku sent off on 15 minutes did not help our cause.

MAN UTD 3-2 REAL MADRID
Good start for us, but shipping in the goals. But as long as I am enjoying the game that is what matters. THink my defence is fairly weak, we will always score goals, but we will lose them too. This game has piles of goals - is there any chance of a 0-0. Not complaining as scoring will improve Abs no need in Midfield and Attackers, maybe not Defenders though....

AZ67 Alkmaar 1 - 7 BARNSLEY
The way we been playing in pre season did not see that result coming so im delighted....
We controlled possession and passing against the new boys, 17 year old Chapman with a hatrick, 2 for Firmino, 1 for Lewandowski and Reyna.
The young lad Chapman with his 1st MOM Award, we played well as a team and pick up good abs.
BARNSLEY 2 - 5 Chelsea
This was the performance we are producing too often, well played Colin, we gave up too much possession.
Firmino and McGinn on target.
Mixed start to the season, Manchester City and Real Madrid next for us and we need to play better otherwise two heavy defeats expected!!

Ajax FC 2 - 1 ARSENAL
Disappointing result losing, we had more of possession and passing but failed to win.
Coyle with the late 2nd half goal, team played okay but did not get the result.
ARSENAL 1 - 0 AZ67 Alkmaar
Got the win and 3pts but much room for improvement.
Barbosa with the winner and Esquerdo with MOM Award, happy with the win but we have much work to do.

And the crap show begins at Inter.
Already in the relegation zone and will remain there for the foreseeable future.
Too many goals conceded and a GK who needs wheelchair assistance to get onto the pitch.
Who do I play next?
It could be the local blind institute team and I would probably still lose by 3 goals.
Horrible start and so lets continue as we started.
Not sure what is the next step. Transfer forum seems pretty dead and so tactical changes look like my only option.

PSG 2 - 0 Portsmouth
Good match bielsa, you made us work very hard for the result.
We had to dig deep and did not play aswell as i would expect, Fabregas with both goals and the Man of the Match.
We had good passing game but need to be more clinical in front of goal, good abs gained.
Liverpool 4 - 2 PSG
Good match Inzaghi, disappointed with defeat.
A very tight match between the teams, Liverpool were more clinical in front of goal.
Henrique and Griezmann on target, then Henrique sent off did not help our cause.
Not the ideal start to the season.....

Tottenham 3 - 6 WEST HAM
Bragging rights in London with a 6 goal blast over Tottenham.
Came back from 1-0 down through Lingaard, Icardi and Ramos then Spurs hot back, we increased our lead through Icardi. Spurs pulled 1 goal back before we hit two late goals from Antonio and Noble.
We dominated possession and deserved the win, good team performance and good abs gained.
St Mirren 3 - 2 WEST HAM
Scratching my head on this one, we had 71% possession, twice as many shots, more passing and lost the match.
Took lead through Sergio Ramos, then St Mirren cameback with 3 goals before Fredricks got our second goal but could not find equaliser.
Team played well, Icardi was awful.
Mixed start to season, although midfield look good with modric pulling the strings.
