Portsmouth 5-3 Man Utd
Good game played by Mourinho and although we had a 30-20 shots advantage the only things we can take from the game is the stats and that winning this league will take a lot of effort abs hard work. A loss this early might be a good thing..
Liverpool 1-2 Man Utd
Better performance from us but we could have been caught out. Again though good stats and it is 2 away games out the way. 😷😷

RSC Anderlecht 1 - 7 LIVERPOOL
Wow did not expect this result, but 2 players sent off for Macca and RSC made it easier for us.
Haaland with a hatrick, 2 goals for Mane, 1 for Grimaldo and Brozovic.
We just edged a busy match with plenty of action and delighted with 7 goals, good solid team performance and good abs gained.
LIVERPOOL 1 - 2 Manchester United
Well played Grandadam, disappointed to lose to arch rivals.
Haaland on target but was a very poor performance by us after the RSC match, we do better.

ST MIRREN - Inter Milan
Good match Cantona, we just edged the game but happy with draw as first match at the club with new llok assembled team.
We were cruising at 3-0 up through Smith, Nandez and Connolly before Inter hit back with 3 late 2nd half goals.
Kemar Roofe was our busiest player without scoring a goal.
Barnsley 0 - 2 ST MIRREN
Very tactical match with the two formations, not much action but we controlled the match and got the 3 points.
Raggett and McLean on target with Robertson Man of the Match, not best performance but 4pts from 2 games happy with that.

If we had lost at Liverpool to the Boss man we would have taken that IF we had won away in Portsmouth. But we have to go with the flow, and as Chelsea dropped a draw in their 2 games, it remains tight at the top. Having played Mourinho and Inzaghi yesterday, we are still in contention.. Good games both.. :-)

Good performance. Kane with a brace.
Az 2-6 Real Madrid
Another good performance and more goals.
Caps off 2 good games. 6 points and staying close to the top.
Courtois misses 1 more game so will be god to get him back in goal.

New look Pompey launched....
POMPEY 5 - 3 Manchester United
Fantastic start back at Pompey, good match Grandadam we got the points but did give up much possession.
Apart from possession was an even match and we now have a competitive team, 2 goals from Danny Welbeck, Buendia, Sarr and David Luiz on target.
Lavezzi and Welbeck worked well together in attack, Ismaila Sarr was immense in midfield.
Inter Milan 2 - 2 POMPEY
Another good result and our tactics almost got us the 3pts.
Lavezzi with two goals in 2 minutes late in the 2nd half, they equalised in the 94th minute.
Harry Wilson was Man of the Match, good team performance.
4pts from our two matches very happy.

St Etienne 3 - 3 Atletico Madrid
A valuable away point in front of 28,000 fans. A disallowed goal which was questionable could have seen us take all points but pretty happy.
P_Aubameyang caused our defense havoc and picked up two fantastic goals showing his class. We have 14 shots on target compared to their 11 so it was a pretty even game all up.
The only disappointment is that Stefan_Savic was sent off on the 66th minute and promising young defender T_Fon'-Mensah came away with an injury but with our squad depth, these two players being out will just provide more opportunities for other players to impress me.
Two goals and MOM award went to Vinicius who again, shows great promise at such a young age and will most definitely be in the future plans for Atletico moving forward.
Atletico Madrid 4 - 1 West Ham
41,000 fans turned up to watch this one and were not disappeared as our players found their creativity and shooting boots. We actually had less shots on target but proved far more clinical. In midfield, Melo played a blinder scoring, an assist and MOM award which pleased the home fans looking to kicking on after MD5 draw.
More bookings put us under pressure with suspensions and injuries making things a little interesting. Vinicius was bought on in the 70th minute and scored one goal from his one shot on target on the 73rd minute, impressing me again. My striking options look tasty this season.
An extremely tricky fixture but very happy to pick up all three points and to see the entire team play well. I did rest some first team platers on MD5 and probably played the price but this result was pleasing. This season is going to be tough and I think no team will be completely dominant and now we will learn from these games and continue to tweak player combinations and tactics.

Ajax FC 0 - 1 CHELSEA
Well played Swedish80 you made work really hard for this win...
Was suprised how Ajax made us work for it and they could have stolen the win, Isco with the late 82nd minute goal and MOM.
Mbappe sent off on 3mins did not help and he will be reprimanded with being dropped, then young Wakely sent off on 79mins.
Isco got the job done and we missed having Neymar in attack.....
CHELSEA 2 - 2 Manchester City
Great match Darlington, we had it won until Mahrez got an 89th minute goal for City.
Very even match between two quality sides, Mbappe redeemed himself in this game with a goal and the MOM(we were going to drop him....), and Neymar scoring.
Happy with the performance.
4pts still unbeaten and top of the league very happy with the night's work.

Well played Drum, heavy defeat we went Long Ball to frustrate but not work.
Flores with our only goal, we were never in the match.
ARSENAL 3 - 2 Tottenham
Happy winning the London derby, we deserved the win and had control of the match.
Coyle with 2 goals and 1 for Swanson, midfield played well and controlled the game.

Fantastic, dominating performance - with seven diffferent scorers - has that ever happened before in WSM??
Despite not scoring, Pogba was MOM, closely followed by Nasri - both excelling in midfield while star man Ozil was rested ..
Whazri was quiet by his standards with just the one goal - has the rest last week lost his red - hot form?
Pleased also the subs all contributed ..

Another great result against a tough team - and a 2nd clean sheet on the night!
We have only conceded 2 goals in our 6 matches so far, and have also scored more than anyone else!
We made more chances than against West Ham (27 vs 20) yet only scored 2 goals - such is the defensive strength of the opposition!
Both goals were scored by defenders as our European style ensured that all players were involved ..
Tah was MOM, but Pogba excelled again and Whazri was back on form ..

PSG 1 - 0 AS MONACO
Well won Stevie, we pushed PSG hard against bitter rivals but came up short in the end.
We only had 2 shots from 10 on target not good enough, poor performance and if not for Alisson would have big defeat.
AS MONACO 3 - 1 St Etienne
Another game against rival French club and we got the win and 3pts.
Martins with 2 goals, Geubbels scoring with Martins the MOM.
Better team performance and good abs.

PSG 1 - 0 AS Monaco
Good match chelseablues, we had to battle hard to get the points.
Griezmann with a flying shot on 74mins for the 3pts, not one of our best performances.
Borussia Dortmund 2 - 1 PSG
Well played Niall, not sure how we lost this one, we had the possession and chances.
There 89th minute winner stunned us, Martial got the equaliser for us and the Man of the Match.
Herrera, Griezmann and Martial played well rest of team below par.
Were not quite firing on all cylinders yet, 6pts behind leaders currently.

WEST HAM 0 - 7 Bayern Munich
Bad result we got tactics totally wrong and paid the price and with Lingaard sent off had no chance of winning the match.
Atletico Madrid 4 - 1 WEST HAM
Very bad night for us with another heavy defeat, although we did play well and match them but their finishing from a quality team was the difference.
Modric with our goal, Lingaard, Modric and Icardi played well.
